Private label represents a large opportunity for retailers to create competitive differentiation. The international purchase alliance COOP EURO operating at 4 major Central-European markets (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria) has started to launch the highest segment of the retail products with the own private label COOP Premium - in order to offer European quality to the consumers and to enlarge the existing private labels of the national members of the alliance, which cover the discount or standard segments.
The aim of private label COOP Premium is to develope and support a strong, modern, international retail trademark raising the competitiveness of cooperative retail trade in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Bulgaria. |
